Bidee Phonics Decodable Readers Series 1 Phase 1+ - 6 Pack
BiDee Phonics are decodable stories written by two Irish Primary School teachers, illustrated and printed in Ireland. Engaging and humorous stories with appealing illustrations which provide rich stimulus for discussion. The books are sequential and follow a carefully designed scope and sequence, each one introducing new sounds as well as revising previous sounds.
Series 1+ focuses on CCVC and CVCC words. These don’t need to be completed before starting Series 1 Phase 2; use them when the child is ready for four-letter words.
Each reader includes pre- and post-reading activities to aid comprehension. They include games that also follow the scope and sequence to practise reading in a fun way.
BiDee Phonics readers follow the sequence of Jolly Phonics up to the letter ‘J’
While BiDee Phonics doesn’t follow UFLI Scope and Sequence, they can be used alongside it. Click here to download how to align the books to the UFLI Scope & Sequence.
